Dr. Giannakoula Anastasia
(http://agriculturaltechnology.teithe.gr/) is an Assisant Professor in the Department of Agriculture of the International Hellenic Univesity (former Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki). She is a Plant Physiologist and her main research interests include: Effects of abiotic stress on plant ultrastructure and metabolism; Environmental stress and reactive oxygen species (ROS); Abiotic stress and molecular mechanisms of photosynthesis and Post harvest techniques of agricultural products. She is a reviewer in many scientific journals (international & national journals), chairman in environmental conferences, member of scientific organizations (international & national), invited speaker in lectures, seminars.
She is a member of scientific committees in Greece and internationally and has many participations in scientific conferences. She has published more than 60 research papers (international journals, Greek journals, conferences). She has participated in eight research programs, and in one as Scientist Responsible. Currently participates in the Interreg programme: VineSOS, (SoS for endangered vine varieties).

Member of the Wine Academy „Vinarsky Institut” Cheh Republic Graduate of the English WSET, Sommelier since 2012. Master in Business Organization Management
